THINGS TO KNOW:

You must be an immediate family member of a full-time Gateway Team Member. You may be a graduating senior in high school OR already in a higher education setting to apply.

The $1,000 scholarship covers most forms of post-secondary/post-high school education. Examples include University/College, Community College, most vocational and trade schools.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on a combination of factors, including community involvement, leadership experience, academic accomplishments, career goals, and the strength of their essay response. The program is also intended to prioritize support for those who need it most.

The diverse scholarship committee recognizes and awards well-rounded, community-minded students. Applicants must submit:

1. A written essay (maximum 500 words) outlining why you would be a strong candidate and how you will contribute to the community – both inside and outside of the classroom – at the institution you attend/will attend.

2. A resume highlighting your experience over the past few years, including academic accomplishments, extracurricular and/or athletic activities, leadership experiences, and community/volunteer involvement.

3. Proof of application, acceptance or enrollment/registration of your intended course of study (if available). Selected applicants may be asked to provide additional supporting documentation before scholarship funds are awarded.

4. Recipients may be asked to provide a headshot photo following selection.

Submit your essay, resume and photo through our online application form before the application deadline. Your resume and essay must include your name, email address and phone number.

Email scholarship@gatewayservicesinc.com with any questions you may have about the process.

Applications are due on or before 11:59pm EST on June 26, 2026.

This will be dependent on the volume of applicants. While we are not able to give a scholarship to everyone, we would like to award several scholarships.

Winners will be contacted via phone and/or email July 20-24th, 2026.

No, previous recipients are not eligible.
